HVAC Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I change my filter?
Once a month is optimal for most people. Depending on where you live and how much dirt, pet hair, and other contaminants are around, it could be more or less. If it's dirty, change it.
How often should I have my unit serviced?
Units need to have scheduled check-ups to make sure everything is operating properly. We recommend an annual inspection and service. Technicians will inspect your system, lubricate components, and repair or replace any malfunctioning components.
What about my air quality?
Indoor air quality can be a concern, as many studies show that air pollution is much worse indoors than outdoors. You can improve your indoor air quality with frequent dusting and vacuuming, and you can also have a qualified technician install devices such as special air filters, in home air purifier, and humidifiers to improve indoor air quality. Poor indoor air quality has been linked to many illnesses, so improving your home’s air quality is an investment worth making.
